Our watercolor approach focuses on the “radial bleed”—where deep, ink-like centers spill outward into soft, translucent margins of fuchsia. By utilizing heavy washes that pool in the petal’s throat, the print captures the flower’s natural depth and its slightly ruffled, playful edge. The Poppy brings a sense of fragile, fleeting beauty to the collection. We use a “wet-on-wet” technique to create a soft, bleeding edge, allowing the fiery corals and soft scarlets to wash into the fabric with a dreamy, unfocused grace.
