The Pansy is the soulful centerpiece of the Sheer Blooms collection, beloved for its wide, “face-like” petals and rich, tactile depth. Known for their incredible variety and resilience, our watercolor interpretation focuses on the iconic “blotch”—the bright, ink-stained heart that bleeds outward into vibrant violet. By using a “wet-on-dry” technique, we’ve captured the characteristic velvet sheen of the petals, making the colors feel saturated yet soft. These prints bring a sense of playful personality and grounded warmth to the collection, turning every garment into a cozy, botanical portrait.  

The Impatiens brings a sense of lush, shade-loving vibrancy to the collection. Often found in the cool corners of the garden, these “Touch-Me-Nots” are celebrated for their flat, heart-shaped petals and their ability to bloom in a brilliant spectrum of neon pinks, corals, and soft whites. Our watercolor study uses a high-water-to-pigment ratio to mimic the flower’s translucent, almost succulent-like texture. By allowing the edges of the petals to bleed into one another, the print creates a hazy, dreamlike wash of color that feels incredibly fresh and alive. It is a soft, welcoming motif that adds a glow of effortless, feminine energy to our most relaxed and breathable pieces.  

The Carnation introduces a delightful sense of texture and “fringed” detail. Known for their intricate, zigzag petals and sturdy, clove-scented presence, these blooms are reimagined through soft, rhythmic brushstrokes. Our watercolor interpretation focuses on the “crimped” edges of each petal, using a layering technique to build up a sense of ruffled volume without losing that signature sheer transparency. In shades of soft peach, dusty rose, and creamy white, the Carnation print offers a nostalgic yet modern aesthetic. It is a tactile, layered motif that brings a feeling of structured softness and enduring charm to our most comforting, wrap-around silhouettes.
